  1. From my experience, problems authenticating seem to always revolved around the IIS permissions for the exchange server webserver.

Let me know if I can help in any other way.

  2. I am trying to set up my exchange server email, with no luck. I had my system admin come over and take a look and we have tried several did variations for the domain and user name. I still get "Cannot connect to the Exchange server" The other weird thing is when I go to server address via the browser, I can't log in there either. However it works fine on my computer and also on others' phones in the office.
  3. You can try using the FQDM of your server and also try it with and without the /exchange:

https://yourserver.domain.com/exchange (or http is it is not SSL)

    -or-
    yourserver.domain.com/exchange
  4. Here is where I am having issues. Once I get to the first page, I put in my username and password and go to the next screen. My email is xxxx@woh.rr.com. So once I get to the next box the Email address block is filled out right...the server address just has: woh.rr.com. The "Domain" block is empty. The username block has my username: xxxxx and the password box is right. When I hit Next, I get: Cannot connect to the Exchange server. What am I doing wrong?
  5. From what I understand, there was an issue with this leaked ROM that required the password to be rentered for GMAIL accounts everytime the phone was reloaded. I was able to replicate that issue.

My phone had Exchange ActiveSync configured as well and I never had to keep re-entering the password. Nevber had to make any server changes either.

Perhaps your exchange server IIS virtual directory (EAS) needs the permissions adjusted?
  6. I was recently upgraded to android 2.1 and the software has a security feature that forces a login password every time the phone is opened. Through research, I found out that it is related to exchange server and that we needed to get our service provider to turn off the "require password" feature on the server. We have done this and the password login screen still has not gone away...do I need to change a setting on the phone now????
